Toxic is the best! Toxic could be my fav Britney song, I can't be sure of that, because of all the other great songs she has made. Me Against the Music is good to and I like (I Got That) Boom Boom and a few other songs too. The other songs aren't that good really. Still it gets 5 stars because it's an album that shows that she can do not only pop music but other styles too.

Breathe On Me & Touch Of My Hand, need i say more? Years after it's release, the sounds still sound futuristic, as they were meant to be. If released today, it'd still have a huge impact. The only problem with this album was the lead single, should have been Breathe On Me, but well, we know what happened.

I love this CD. This is Britney at her best.
There are so many amazing songs here. Breathe on Me, The Hook Up, Toxic, Everytime, Outrageous, and that's just to name a few.
I usually say that I like Blackout more, but that's only because I'm not very fond of 'Early Mornin', while I love every song on Blackout.
HOWEVER, for the songs from this album that I do love, I love them as much as any of the songs that I love from Blackout.
So I can't really compare the two albums.

This is, in my opinion, the best Britney album to date. From start to finish, every song is perfectly executed in a way only Britney Spears can do. Here are all the reasons this is Britney's best.
1. She co-wrote 8 of the tracks which is more than she has on any other album.
"Everytime" is the most beautiful ballad she has released to date. The fact that she co-wrote this song makes it even better.
2. Her voice sounds wonderful. On this album, you can hear that she really is no longer a girl, but a full on sexual woman ready to take on the world.
3. Probably the best asset of this entire album is the fact that every song sounds different. More than any previous album, each song takes you on a new and exciting journey. On "MATM", you feel as if you are really there, in the club, dancing your ass off with Britney and Madonna. "Toxic" throws you into a new, fast paced world of scratching guitar and ear tickling strings while Britney tries to kick her addiction to her toxic lover. The reggae beats in "The Hook Up" and the Indian influence of "Outrageous " bring a nice and interesting change of pace, and she slows it down with "Touch of My Hand" .....(i think we all know where this song takes your mind to). "Shadow" provides another beautiful ballad that Britney belts with excellence.

BUT, in order to keep it balanced, I do have to say that the breathy, moaning Britney in "Breathe on Me", "Touch of Hand", and "Early Mornin' " is not my favorite, but it all works very well with the album.

Overall, this is my favorite Britney album, but I have to ask Will Circus change that???

I think that IN THE ZONE is the best album of Britney, i love BOOM BOOM and EVERYTIME, but the best singles are SHOWDOWN and EARLY MORNIN´.

I love all of Britney's work but here is another example of a diverse blockbuster collection of music.

There is no genre here, even on a track by track basis: Is it Pop? Reggae? Hip Hop? Rock?

This album is really fun, and for young adults and college age or senior year students or someone who loves to party alot a fun and enjoyable CD. All of the songs are good, and is an awesome album, because Britney started to show us more of herself since her "Oops!" album when she did her first songwriting. The songs are more about club life and some of the experiences people my age and that as far as I can guess she may have had or knew people who had them. Anyway, the only 2 songs that adults with children should be weary of are "The Hook Up",. "Early Morning", "Breath on Me", "Brave New Girl", and "Touch of My Hand". Otherwise, it is Britney's most edgy album she has made. The music is awesome and her singing is awesome for being electronically remixed on her vocals. I think Britney needs to sing more herself than with the electronics and cut down on the smoking to save her vocal chords. Otherwise, a good album, but it's not for young children but it is her most adult themed since her "Blackout" and "Britney" CDs.

This is one of my favourite britney spears released albums!! She wrote almost all the songs on the record ! She showed her extremely sexy and creative side coming out with not only another internationally #! hit single "Toxic" but such hits as "Me Against The Music" "Everytime" "outrageous" and unreleased singles like " I Got That Boom Boom" and "Breathe On Me" I love every track on this album, this girl is extremely talented at song writing ! she should do it more often !

Britney's "most sexual offering so far", says Wikipedia. True, but there are many songs from the album still showing the image of the innocent Mickey Mousketeer, like "Brave New Girl", and that's why I rated this album lower than "Blackout". However, there are many songs that really brought out Britney's new image, like "Breathe on Me" and "Touch of my Hand", both critized for its sexual content and performances at the Onyx Hotel Tour. It spawned three number one singles, "Me Against the Music", "Toxic" and "Everytime". "Outrageous" was also a single, but failed to reach the success of its precedures due to the fact that it was only released as a radio single. Also note that "Everytime" is one of Spears' most emotional singles, claimed by many that it was a break-up song with Justin Timberlake.

This is definely the album where Britney went from being a girl to a woman!!! It is is my favourite album to date (although it ties with Blackout) every song is amazing and has the potential to be a single. Loves it! The tour that went along with this is also a highlight of her career, it was stunning!!!! I want 'In The Zone' Britney Back!

I feel like this album was sort of overlooked, compared to her other albums, I mean. I think this is her very best album yet. I loved all the sexy songs on it, like Toxic, Touch Of My Hand, and Breathe On Me.I really liked Everytime too, such a sweet song, and her voice sounded great in it. As a matter of fact I think it was one of the best albums of 04/05. I also really loved the Onyx Hotel tour.

This album very much led up to and prepared the world for the sultry vocals and lyrics of Miss Queen B.
The hits that we hear by other RnB artists at the moment, are nothing more than copy cats of the low blue/jazzy tempo of "In the Zone". This proving that Britney really does lead the pack, and leads it well!
This album is great as it's totally unexspected, Britney's self titled album "Britney" still seemed very naive and forced, as she was still leashed by managers and producers excpecting the pop princess to sing purely "pop".

But this album is a breakthough album, especially with toxic, which revealed an array of vocals that we'd never seen, which later gained Britney her first Grammy.
