This album is one of her best and I like Piece of Me the best, then Break the Ice and Gimme More. Why Should I be Sad is a good song to, I wish she had more songs like that one on Blackout, but why should I be sad when there's other great songs like Freakshow (and the songs I mentioned before). This album is so amazing that there really isn't much to say.
This is the album that made me love Britney, and turned me into the obsessive fan that I am today.
I love EVERY single song off this album. And this is the only album in the world that I can say that for.
I could listen to this album on repeat forever and never get tired.
My favorite tracks would have to be 'Get Naked (I Got a Plan)' and 'Break the Ice', but they're only my favorites my a tiny margin, because I love every single song on this album.

Britney Spears Blackout, one of the greatest albums ever!

From the opening line of the album I knew I was going to love it 'It's Britney b****' Blackout has some of Britney's Best songs, such as break the ice and piece of me. All the songs are of such a high standard although it has been argued that Brit voice is slightly over processed. Hopefully Circus will be even better (if thats even possible) and totally knock all those haters back because Britney is Back and reclaiming her crown as Princess of Pop!

While its true that Blackout does have its flaws, and that most likely it was called perfect due to the fact that people simply wanted new music after 4 years of no new music. Blackout however is one of her better albums. I can listen to it without skipping over a single song unlike som of her other albums. While her voice is a little over processed *crosses fingers that circus wont follow the ame formula* its still a good alum

I gave it 3 out of 5 for this reason: The album is fun, upbeat, and overall a well structured pop album, but it lacks ballads. One thing I love about Britney is her ability to "pull you in" on a ballad
(i.e. "Everytime, " I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman") but with Blackout, this was badly missed. Also, I felt that her voice, on many of the tracks, was a little too processed. Sometimes while listening to it, I felt as if the album was rushed, being thrown together in 2 - 3 weeks. (I know this was not the case) but it did feel that way. NOW, lets talk about the good sides. The songs are good enough on this album to save it from being a complete wreck. "Gimme More" is the best lead single she has released since "...baby one more time". Don't misunderstand me, I love all of Brintey's songs, but when you're talking about hit songs that no one can help but like, "Gimme More" works magic. Other stand out tracks are "Piece of Me", "Break the Ice", "Freakshow", and "Ooh Ooh Baby"

"Piece of Me" is the best track on the album. The main reason is the lyric content. It is talking about subjects that are completely new and untouched by Britney previously. Many of Britney's songs talk about love, dancing, heartbreak, life, etc.. BUT, in Piece of Me, she talks about herself and how people view her, a subject that is long overdue. The song is simple but so catchy and fun. The perfect blend of attitude and spunk.

Overall, I did enjoy this album very much, however, I don't think it is the best she has ever done. I think we as Britney fans were so hungry for a new album after 4 years of no new studio albums, that we accepted it, overlooking its' faults. I also know that Blackout represents a very rough time in our girls life, and as much as I did enjoy it, I am ready to see what the next album will bring.
The Circus is coming to town (DEC. 2) and I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember listening to Baby...One More Time" when I was in the second grade and to this day I still love it.
Then there came a period when I totally ignored Britney...I have no idea why but I did. But I wish I didn't. I wish I could go back in time and smack myself and turn up EVERYTIME and crank it into my young STUPID ears.
But...
2007 came and I heard GIMME MORE and right then and there I was re-turned on to Britney again.
Chris Crocker helped alot too. But can say...as a Britney fan finally...

i highly agree that blackout is one hot album! i still listen to it! freakshow and get naked are my 2 fave tracks!! i can listen to the entire blackout album and not get bored! i think haters were dissin' this album cuz it didn't sell huge numbers like her previous albums...but i don't give a sh!t what they think! i luv all her music but blackout is def. the funnest and hottest album she's done so far!! can't wait for the new album in dec.!

I Love Britney Spears & have since her Britney album which I thought she could never top because the songs on it are soo awesome but then she proved me wrong with the In the Zone album which was also equally as good although I really wished she made a lot more videos for the songs on both of these albums. Now with Blackout, I really feel cheated video & karaoke-wise because she has only made 3 videos for this album that has soo many great video & karaoke-worthy songs but that's all it looks like I'm going to get since she's onto a new album which is great but her music company really needs to learn how to get the most out of the work she has already done because they could've had a very lucrative tour with this album, I'm willing to bet it would've sold out!!!!! Oh well I am just really proud Britney finally got the recognition she deserved on this year's Video Music Awards & I was screaming & clapping when she got that 1st moon man, it's really hard to believe she never got one before but MTV doesn't seem to appreciate her just like her record company. I really wish the tour for the Blackout album had happened though (people had rumored it would be called The Freakshow) & could already imagine it having seen her 2 times in concert before once for the Britney tour & once for the Onyx Hotel tour & I saw her opening this concert with Break The Ice which is my absolute favorite song on the whole album especially because of that speaking Intro. "It's been a while, I know I shouldn't have kept you waiting but I'm here now" & then the breakdown into that awesome beat & "I know it's been a while but I'm glad you came".... that would've been soo AWESOME & she could've danced the hell out of it & had the whole place going crazy!!!!! Maybe if she does a tour with this new carnival/circus album she can still perform my favorite song Break the Ice & that will be almost as good as a whole concert on this album that didn't get & won't get the recognition it deserved. But I Love You Britney & always will & am soo overjoyed that you did not allow the stresses in your life to stop you or keep you down that proves what strong material you are made of. I can put my hand on my heart and say that before Blackout I wasn't very much of a Britney fan. It was perhaps a secret guilty pleasure of mine to listen to her infection tracks on the radio, but I would never admit to this. I bought none of her earlier albums and was only ever really impressed by one song, Toxic. I did buy that particular single at the time as it was widely accepted as being excellent. That song got under my skin, shook me awake and just forced me to dance. This is the true magic of Britney Spears at work.

Having heard leaked material online prior to the official release of Blackout I quickly became hugely interested in this artist. Despite all of the bad press, I felt that this album was going to be something entirely new. I bought Blackout on the weekend before it was to be officially released here in Ireland and I was far from disappointed. Its almost a year since I first heard the leaked tracks online and I still rate this album among the absolute best and most addictive material from a total of 10 days of continuous playing music on my ipod.

Blackout I am sure will in the future be seen as the catalyst in the career of Britney Spears. Blackout is in fact the glorious ashes from which the Phoenix that is Britney Spears spectacularly re-emerged and reignited our musical imaginations.

Congratulations on your VMA's lady. Well earned.

I was not a really big fan of Britney before I like some her her songs but when I heard Blackout I was like in love with her. Blackout is the best album I have ever heard i have listened to all the songs like over and over like a million of times. I think all her new songs are the best work she has done. I cant wait till her new album comes out
